Places Stanley Has Visited

Instructions for Host Families

How exciting- Flat Stanley has come to visit you! Now what?
Doing your part in the Flat Stanley Project is a two phase deal:

Phase 1- Stanley's Adventure Letter
A) Take Stanley (and your camera) out to sight-see. Maybe you'll take him to local landmarks, an interesting festival, or just stroll through the neighborhood to show him the native wildlife. Perhaps you could introduce him to some of your friends.
B) Document your outings with photographs, trinkets, stamps, what-have-you. Help Stanley write a letter or postcard describing his adventure. Put everything in an envelope (or package.)
C) *Mail* the letter (or package) to Amri back here in Texas.

Phase 2- send Stanley to his next destination
A) After completing Phase 1, place Stanley back in his suitcase, along with his instruction letter. Place the suitcase in an envelope. Feel free to attach your own  friendly letter.
B) *Mail* Stanley to someone you know- someone who lives in a place much different from your own. If you don't know where to send him, you can always send him home. We still have a list of other possible hosts. (However- the host that has Stanley in late December 2010 should send him back to Amri, along with Stanley's adventure letter. The project is over at the beginning of 2011.)
